Babe Hair First-Timers

Babe Hair First-Timers

If this is your first time wearing Babe Hair extensions, it may be a little confusing as to how to take care of your brand new extensions. Questions like which products to use may come up even before the installation. For the Babe Hair extension-ista, this may be a recap for you, so feel free to comment below and share your must-have products. Here is a quick list of products you should purchase right before your extension appointment:

Sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner. Since we sell our products through professional distributors, they are very educated in knowing how to preserve the life of your Babe Hair. Through them you’ll be able to find they type of shampoo and conditioner for your hair type that’s also safe for your extensions.

Dry Shampoo. Babe Hair Dry Shampoo is lightly scented and doesn’t leave a powdery residue on your hair like some dry shampoos do. Because you shouldn’t wash your extensions more than twice a week, use this dry shampoo to keep your hair fresh and clean.

Hair extension brush. The Babe Hair extension brush is designed to be used on all hair extension types keeping the bonds, tape, and beads secure. Any other brush will snag and can cause slippage and in some cases, breakage.

Blow-dry primer. Because you shouldn’t leave your bonds, bead, or tape wet, invest in a blow dry primer. Some of these primers can protect the hair from heat of up to 425 degrees ( you should never use this high of a temperature on your natural hair or extensions).

Deep conditioner or mask. Once a week you should apply a deep conditioner or mask to the ends of your hair extensions to keep them hydrated to prevent the ends from splitting. Of course, only apply  from the midshaft down. Getting close to the roots will create slippage.

Silk pillowcase or bonnet. When sleeping, sometimes your hair can be a matted mess because the fibers of a cotton pillowcase can catch the loose strands of hair. By sleeping on silk, your hair glides instead of getting tugged which prevents tangles.
