Marketing Your Own Babe Hair Services
If you’ve been a Babe Hair stylist, you may be familiar with our marketing materials. Babe Hair provides our Babes with materials such as Babe posters, mirror clings, shelf talkers, and window clings to help with letting your clients know you offer extension services. We’ve also just recently launched the Babe Hair App to help you provide the best service. While we work hard on helping you boost your revenue, it’s important that you know how to market yourself as well. Here are 4 DIY easy breezy marketing tactics.
Contact cards: If you don’t have contact information for your clients either on a device or on paper, it’s a good time to start. You should have a phone number AND email address for your each one of your clients. Babe’s new app has a client tracker feature that will not only allow you to jot down their contact information, it will also let you put down the details of their last appointment including hair extension color, method, and length. You may even consider listing the lot numbers for each package of hair used, so you have a record. It also will save the cost of their appointment so you don’t have to go through all the calculating again if she comes in for the same service.
Social media: Social media is the new word-of-mouth. Posting great before and after pictures with the proper lighting, angles, and details can be powerful. Afterall, a picture is worth a thousand words right? Giving away exclusive offers and discounts to your social media followers is a great marketing tool. Whether it’s 10% off or a gift card with the purchase of a service, make your deals exclusive to grow your followers. Posting contests up once in a while makes it fun and keeps your content fresh and engaging. The prize for contests should be related to your salon and/or services
Oldies but goodies: We all have those one or two loyal clients that have gone MIA. Instead of wondering about where they could be (this is where the email address comes in handy), shoot them a quick email. Personalize it and add a discount to get them back in your chair. Your focus should be on building strong, loyal client base with the clients you already have instead of spending that energy on new clients.
Bookings: This is a good time to set their next appointment. Why not avoid waiting for your client to make the next appointment. Wearing hair extensions requires move-up appointments so why leave it to chance that your client understands the proper timing? Take the initiative and get them back in your chair. This is also the perfect time to mention a referral program if you have one. If you’re a new Babe Hair extension stylist looking to fill up time, creating a referral program will be in your best interest.
